from the hip; removes whole-

paged rhymes, like Calamity Eve cloned:

campfires and stars in her

eyes, whiskey-locks scoured

by winds from Four corners:

Silko, Alexie, Churchill, Dorn—

scalping all the Dead White Guys, cannons

blasting Rorschach chalk lines down,

delineating Alamos:

serials of killer prose.
